The Top Celebrity Weddings of the Year on Tomorrow's Hangout!

Think you know everything about the year's biggest weddings? We may not have had a Royal Wedding this year -- Princess Madeleine of Sweden said "I do" but no one was really watching -- but plenty of Hollywood stars got hitched all over the world, including big budget blow-outs (see Sean Parker and LeBron James's weddings) and budget-friendly City Hall "I dos" (see Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard).

On tomorrow's episode of From "I Will" to "I Do" The Bridal Bar's Harmony Walton and Glamour's Kim Fusaro will be joining me to dish about who wore which designer wedding gown, where the A-listers got hitched, and all the fun details that we wish we could have seen in person -- once again, see Sean Parker's fantasy wedding world.)

The New From "I Will" to "I Do" -- a Vlog

I'm back!  But instead of blogging daily I'll be vlogging weekly -- meaning, I've started a From "I Will" to "I Do" video series over on Google+ that you can watch live, or you can catch a re-run any time here, on G+, on YouTube, or a partner site. Here's how it looked over at Style Me Pretty.

Every week you'll get to listen in on a conversation between me and the biggest names in bridal!  Last month we covered bridal fashion week trends with Martha Stewart Weddings' Editorial Director Darcy Miller, Mark Ingram, Style Me Pretty's Stephanie Weers, London-based planner Mark Niemierko, The Knot's Fashion Director Jennia Ma, Terry Hall of Kleinfeld, EquallyWed's Kirsten Palladino and Harmony Walton of Bridal Bar and the Jet Fete blog. Amazing, right?! Watch them both below.

In the coming weeks you'll hear from the biggest names in bridal including planners, caterers, bakers, bloggers, florists, designers, editors, photographers, and pretty much anyone else you can think of -- just shoot me an email, tweet, or G+ comment and let me know what you'd like to hear/learn about and who you'd love to hear from!

I'm SUPER excited to resurrect From "I Will" to "I Do" and I think this will be a great way to continue the legacy of this blog, which, since July 4, 2006, has featured planning and style advice in a friendly, totally approachable, tone.

I'll post weekly program updates and shows here but follow me on Google+ to get daily tips, style inspiration and pretty much any and everything weddings -- including the latest on Prince Harry!

Must-Attend NYC Wedding Event

For those of you who have been reading this blog for the past few years you know that my favorite event of the year is New York magazine's Weddings event.  The event is held in conjunction with the launch of the Summer issue (check out my stationery story in the Checklist section!) and features the city's top vendors.

You and your guest -- groom, mom, MOH, definitely bring a buddy -- will enjoy browsing the goods and services of florists, stationers, planners, designers and salons, AND taste delicious menu items from the best caterers and yummy cakes and cupcakes from a variety of talented bakers.

This year's event is being held on Thursday, March 28th at 5pm at the Metropolitan Pavilion on West 18th between 6th and 7th Avenues.

Tickets are $40 each or $60 for a pair.  You can purchase them here.

If my post hasn't convinced you to click and buy a pair, remember you should to bring a buddy, now, visit the weddings.nymag.com site for details on the partners and participants.

See you there!
