I’m not sure how the guest book began as a book where guests would simply sign their names, but no matter how it started the guest book has evolved to more than a fancy attendance sheet.
Today a guest book can be a book or notecards where guests are encouraged to write well wishes for the bride and groom. You can also make your guest book a scrapbook or craft activity during cocktail hour where guests can take a picture of themselves in a custom phtoto booth or traditional photo booth and glue them to the pages. They can then write messages and add stickers and embellishments to decorate the pages.
